This year’s Moffat Men's Shed Charity Christmas Fair was a resounding success, thanks to the enthusiastic support of our community. The fair featured a vibrant atmosphere filled with the holiday spirit, and we are thrilled to report that the Tombola was a standout attraction, drawing in crowds eager to participate and win exciting prizes.
For the first time, the Men's Shed introduced a crafting section to the Christmas stall, made possible by the creativity and dedication of our female members. Visitors were delighted by the beautiful wooden bowls crafted by the talented George, who skilfully turned each piece on the lathe. Additionally, Gillian showcased her artistic flair with exquisite stained glass Christmas tree decorations, adding a touch of elegance to our offerings.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. A special shoutout goes to the local shopkeepers, traders, and individuals who generously donated items for the fair. Your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
A special thank you also goes to Elsie Macrae, who graciously allowed us to set up our stall in the United Annandale Parish Church. The welcoming space contributed to the festive atmosphere and made our fair even more enjoyable for everyone involved.
We look forward to continuing this wonderful tradition next year and hope to see even more of you there!
